The Christian Science Monitor

Mary Baker Eddy established The Christian Science Monitor in her 87th year.  The first edition was published on November 25, 1908.

In Mrs. Eddy's editorial for the first issue she stated that the purpose of the paper was "to injure no man, but to bless all mankind" (First Church of Christ, Scientist and Miscellany, pg. 353).

While this newspaper is owned by The Christian Science Publishing Society, the Monitor is an international paper that covers world news objectively and thoroughly.
